The Sports Reps' Fantasy Football Rankings

It is quite unfortunate that the National Football League is in the midst of a league-wide lockout and the thought of no football on a Sunday afternoon could question any fan’s true mental stability. However, that does not stop those dedicated fantasy football fans from discussing whom they would or would not be drafting with their first overall fantasy pick. Will it be Adrian Peterson? Maybe Chris Johnson? Or how about the career-revived Michael Vick? To help with that decision, or quite possibly fuel the fire to the debate and decision-making, here are our early and first ever top-50 positional rankings (Aside from the kickers, only those that recorded kicker based fantasy points last year were chosen). These rankings are based solely on what team’s rosters the players are currently located on and their overall ability, potential and most recent success. There was no impaired judgement due to the IF factor of whether a player may or may not change teams or become a free agent before the season starts. Good luck this season!

Introduction

This is Donny Braemer here, one half of “The Sports Reps” and I just wanted to take the time to introduce you to my world and our fantasy sports website. I am your typical male that focuses a lot of my free time to sports and the fantasy world that comes along with it. Along with my buddy Jon we have taken the initiative to open up a website dedicated to fantasy sports and any other intriguing stories the sports world offers us. It will include a little bit of writing, podcasts, and hopefully some videos in the future. For those that know me personally, it is a known fact that I LOVE debating and/or “arguing” about sports. It is a passion of mine and as my girlfriend defines it, an obsession. As far as I’m concerned, you can’t win if you don’t know what’s going on. Not for one second do I claim to know everything or to always be correct, but it doesn’t hurt to try right? And always remember kids; don’t forget to set your line-ups.

Making up the second half of the “The Sports Reps”, I Jonathan Janzen pledge to bring the fullest of my sports and fantasy sports knowledge and advice to all who seek help. Being a fan of fantasy sports for nearly 7 years now, I can safely say I know a thing or two when it comes to pursuing a fantasy championship. Endless nights adjusting line-ups and scanning waiver wires have helped me discover personal techniques and tricks when building a team. Most of my time consists of sports, whether it be playing, watching or talking about sports. Of the 4 major sports I consider myself the basketball guy, my knowledge when dealing with NBA statistics is second to none. But my knowledge does not end there; I am no push over in 3 fantasy leagues either. In summation I just want to say that if ever you need a bit of help or advice with your fantasy team, do not hesitate to contact Donny or myself. After all, we are The Sports Reps!‏
